Cinco de Mayo is upon us and it’s often celebrated with alcohol and great food. While a drink a day has been found to be beneficial the added calories can often put a kibosh to your healthy diet plan.
Try these six drinks that although light can be made even lighter by adding extra seltzer.
½ cup ice cubes to a wine glass
5 oz Yellow Tail Moscato
3 oz chilled club soda or seltzer
2-3 peach or pineapple slices for garnish
Cinco de Mango (not so light but delicious)
Pour in a shaker
1 oz. POM Mango
1.5 oz. Hornitos Tequila
.75 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
.5 oz. Agave syrup
3 dashes Hellfire Bitters (habanero)
Strain it over rocks, and add a lime wheel for garnish.
1 part Cruzan® Aged Light Rum
A splash of lime juice
Diet Lemon/lime soda
1 part Cruzan® Aged Light Rum over ice in a long drink glass.
Fill with diet lemon/lime soda,
Squeeze a lime wedge over and drop in.
Vodka & Tonic
In a high ball glass filled with ice add
2 oz. Luksusowa Vodka
2 oz. Tonic Water
Lime wedge for garnish
The Skinny Ginger
In a pint glass half filled with ice pour
2 parts 2 GINGERS® Irish whiskey
Top with diet ginger ale
Add a lemon and lime wedge
Pour Eppa red Sangria over ice half way
Then top with seltzer stir and garnish with fruit of your choice.
