The movie "Flowers in the Attic" is coming to Lifetime. This will be a remake of the original. On Jan. 9, Zap 2 It shared that the network is already working on the sequel called "Petals in the Wind." This is the title of the second book in the series by V. C. Andrews.

At this time they are only working on the script for the movie but it is going to become a reality. There are other books in the series as well so you never know how long this will end up going. The cast of the show says they have read the first book and also watched the original movie for research to play the part.

The writer said that she never watched the original movie and didn't do it on purpose. This way she wouldn't try to be just like it and instead it would be its own movie. They tried to stay as close to the book as possible.

Don't miss "Flowers in the Attic" on Jan. 18 on Lifetime. There is no date yet for "Petals in the Wind." Please like my Facebook for the latest in entertainment news.
