Camp Niwana in Woodville, Texas is offering certified Lifeguard class taught by an instructor with the American Red Cross.

Class size is limited to 6 people per class, so register early to save your spot.

LIFEGUARDING:

Thursday, June 12 (8am - 9pm)
Friday, June 13 (8am-9pm)
Saturday, June 14 (8am-12pm)
Minimum students: 4
Maximum students: 6

** All students in the class must pass the pre-test. Pre-test consist of swimming 300 yards, a brick test, and a two minute tread. The 300 yard swim is a non-timed event where you can swim the front crawl, breaststroke, or a combination of the two. The brick test must be completed within 1 minute and 40 seconds. You start in the water, swim 20 yards, dive head first or feet first to bottom of the pool, grab the brick with two hands, swim back to starting point, climb out of the water and stand up to have the time stopped. For the two minute tread, the student must use legs only and keep their head above the water.**

COST: $200 (bring your own meals) or $250 (meals provided)
