The Robert Tonner Doll company recently released their 12" dressed character Draco Malfoy doll. This limited edition of 300 dolls comes with platinum saran hair, the Tonner highly-articulated child body and Tom Felton head sculpt with hand-painted details including his blue eyes.
I had been looking for a male friend for Marley to enjoy in Renaissance times. The Draco Malfoy doll was a perfect fit. Although Draco arrived wearing a grey sweater, pants, white shirt, silver-and-green tie, and black shoes and socks, he is now dressed in a Ken tunic and some of Marley's tights. Malfoy looks right at home for his new life in the Nashville castle with Marley.
The 12" Draco Malfoy doll retails for $124, but I found one on ebay for $109 with free shipping. With quite a few ebay bucks accumulated from the Christmas shopping season which I applied to the purchase, Malfoy was a bargain. This is a good thing because I have not been able to remove his wand hand, and I have loosened his wrist joint and elbow joint trying to get the wand hand off, so his right arm will no longer hold a good pose. Had I paid $124 plus shipping, I would be extremely disappointed, as opposed to simply moderately disappointed. You just can't trust a Slytherin.
