February 2013 was a dynamic yet murky month that stirred peoples' emotions, and caused many friends and clients to wonder where their life is going. (Or our country for that matter…will the Sequester take place or not? It’s the last day of the month and we still don’t know!)
I discover a lot through my clients, who although unrelated, often show up in a wave of similar concerns. Recently it was “feeling like a failure”. They doubted their new business venture (it’s losing money), their new February diet and health routines (was doing well, now backsliding), their job searches (no luck), and their bid to make new friends (nobody to connect with at the club after screwing up the courage to go out!)
In the words of the late Zig Ziglar, “Remember that failure is an event, not a person.” Provocative February also stimulated those people to approach their life creatively.They were keen for something better and going after it. By trying something new they made themselves vulnerable to failure. Whether it’s falling off a bike until you can ride, or like the time my mother caught me tossing a failed cake experiment off the porch, doing anything new includes lots of failures. (I expected to get punished but instead my mother asked me, “How else are you going to learn to cook?”)
Another February lesson from clients impresses me. This challenging month flushed out the unfinished sentence in peoples’ belief systems: “I broke my diet, and I’ll never reach my goal.“ I didn’t get a job this month, and I’ll never find one." “I went out and met nobody, maybe I’ll never find a partner!” No particular event was making people miserable, just the fatalistic prediction for themselves that went with it, unnamed but clearly there or singular events wouldn’t be so disheartening.
A person must give themselves the benefit of the doubt to see failure as an event, and not what they are. They have to treat themselves with kindness. An ongoing dynamic that the planets reflect strongly right now is an accelerated ability to see deeply into oneself. You can see what upsets you, what makes you happy, and what you need. It’s a very emotional process! (Expect this to continue into early March rather than after the Spring equinox.)
It’s likely that February was an emotional rollercoaster for many people, with all the planets in water signs…I hope it's brought us to a stronger place!

Magic Circle Intuition Class: The next class in downtown Santa Fe is March 6th, please get in touch if you want to come. Last night we had many different experiences! We sensed energy fields and did a practice to open our power center that I learned in Peru. We worked with a color healing tool to bring new frequencies into our energy field. We did energy release and healing work, divination with the stones and tarot, and a guided imagery exercise to get one’s own spiritual guidance. People got messages right away! Metaphysical classes have an intimate, special atmosphere I have always loved. We are learning to change our vibration, sense spiritual realities and communicate beyond the limits of language. Overall, these processes raise a person's vibration. They build trust in one's own intuition. You gotta have rapport with yourself in this crazy world!
After March 6th I have to other commitments until April. Then I plan to start the Intuition classes up again, please look for details in the next newsletter and online.
