Bonnie Raniewicz, 51, offers professional life coaching that's much more than just goal-setting. She offers a holistic body, mind and spirit approach to helping clients achieve their greatest potential. The success of her integrative coaching practice comes not just from formal training, but from her personal experience as a successful business woman, a yoga instructor and as a certified psychic.

Raniewicz founded Floral Fantasy, a floral shop in Elmira, N.Y., 25 years ago and helped it thrive through economically challenging times into a successful full-service floral business today. In 2002 the shop became known as Floral Fantasy and Mystic Being when she added a line of metaphysical products such as crystals, candles, New Age books and CDs, jewelery, as well as offering psychic readings to customers in a room in her shop. As an avid yoga and feng shui practitioner, she developed a deep interest in metaphysics and spirituality. She received extensive formal training as a certified yoga instructor from Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health and has studied at many other New Age centers for learning throughout the country and the world.

"I'm very much 'on the path' and very fulfilled with the life that I have... and that I'm creating," said Raniewicz. "As I evolved spiritually and intuitively, I realized that part of my purpose is being of service to others."

And that's why she decided to add life coaching to her list of services.

She received formal training as a certified life coach from the Debbie Ford Institute of Integrative Coaching at John F. Kennedy University, and now offers clients assistance in empowerment, shadow work (a Debbie Ford specialty), relationships, career, business/finance and weight loss and health issues. She supports clients as they heal their wounds, overcome challenges and make the choices right for them.

"I've had a lot of success helping clients with weight loss and making healthy lifestyle changes," she said. "As a yoga instructor, I seem to draw clients who need help in that area."

"I coach people on how to take 100 percent responsibility for their lives and make choices from a place of faith rather than a place of fear," she said. "Endless possibilities are available once people are ready to transform their sabotaging thoughts and behaviors."

Raniewicz just obtained additional certification in helping women with issues of the Divine Feminine, with an emphasis on healthy love relationships with themselves and their partners. She also coaches couples with intimacy and sexuality issues.

Good life coaches never tell a client what to do, but they can -- using intuition, questioning and a proven coaching protocol -- help the client discover for herself how to live from the heart.

"So many women have a problem with feeling victimized, which puts the blame on others," she said. "I'm passionate about helping clients become empowered to create the kind of life they desire."
