Libyan terrorist release a slap in Obama's face?

Obama bowing to King of Saudi Arabia

As the  terrorist  Abdel Baset al-Megrahi, who was convicted of aiding in the deaths of the 297 men women and children on a Pan Am Boeing 747, including 189 Americans, was greeted in Libya as a hero, it became obvious of how little respect Scotland and England have for President Obama and the United States.

The whole affair is an indication of what has happened to the United States since Obama became president and paraded around the world putting down  America and its past accomplishments.

This was an answer to Obama's oversees speeches made up of apologies to American's enemies. He succeeded in so degrading himself and America that apparently the Scottish justice minister thought he was not even worthy of being included in the discussion about whether the ailing terrorist should be released and sent back to Libya.

What is even more degrading to Obama and America is that  the true author of the deal made with Libya to better England and Scottland's trading position with Libya was the prime minister of England, Gordon Brown. Apparently, Brown's true loyalty lies with Libya, not the United States.

Can anyone forget Obama bowing to the head of the Saudi throne?  When he did, a message was sent to the rest of the world. So it was no wonder that when Scotland and England were discussing whether or not to send Abdel Baset al-Megrahi home, Obama was left on the side line, not even being considered worthily of being included.

One has to wonder when the next "slap in the face" of Obama will occur and which head of state will apply it. If America's so-called friends treat the him with such destain, what does this say to those who are planning another terrorist attack against the United States?

The silence from this corrupt Obama administration is disgusting.

This terrorist spent 10.8 days in jail PER VICTIM!

Martha: I am sick of obama sucking up and giving away justice in America. His foreign policy is a fools game and will show our avowed enemies that we are weak. Showing weakness invites an attack. B-Ho cannot blame the next one on President Bush. Since he's thrown our only true middle east ally, Israel, under the bus, perhaps they will have the guts to act alone when needed.

Happy Indep, how many more days would he have spent per victim if he were kept in jail over the next three months or so of his expected life expectancy?

It's a bit rich blaming Obama for this, we have no grievance with the USA. We were determining this man's fate through our innate sense of natural justice built up over a duration when your country was still owned by people with a healthy skin tone.

We have to be very careful that our courts are courts of justice and are never the mere instruments of the public lust for revenge...

Scotland has set an example for the world to follow. The USA has a lot of catching up to do.

There is a very easy solution to this problem the family of the victims of downed Pan Am Boeing 747, should hire an assassin
of which there are many worldwide the US. and great Briton use them all the time for dirty deads this assassin can simply terminate
Abdel Baset al-Megrahi,in the presents of his family where they have to see their love die. and eye for an eye that is the christian way.

You really have to be retarded to think that this is actually a UK initiative to release this prisoner.

Funny website here actually boycottscotland dot co dot uk.

There are a lot of conspiracy theories on this, but to think that there is no reason but the "good behavior" to release this prisoner, is to be spoon-fed bull-excrements from media and gag for more. Open your eyes, people.

President G.W. Bush bowed, kissed, and held hands with the Saudi King but I guess that's fine as long as you are a Republican.

I think you are the exact kind of person that is a danger to world politics. And unfortunately there are too many of your type in positions of power. You don't always have to be asserting your power over people. If someone was doing that to your child in school you would be getting the principal to do something about it.

You can't blame Obama for al-Megrahi's release, and neither should you berate him for not kicking up a huge fuss about it. He has ideals which don't match that of the America the world hates (and trust me, a large proportion of the world think that you're, in general, a bunch of tools). Ideals which have lead him to the health care reform, which if done right is a great thing.

Obama relinquishing the bullying image that America has can only be a good move!
