Model and actress Liberty Ross has filed for divorce from husband and "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders, TMZ reported on Jan. 25.
The split is reportedly the result of Ross being unable to move past Sanders' infidelity with actress Kristen Stewart last July -- a scandal that was infamously played out in the media after photos were released of the two embroiled in some steamy make-out sessions.
Stewart released a public apology and Sanders reportedly lamented that the indiscretion was the "worst mistake of his life," but after attempts at reconciliation and several visits to a marital counselor, it appears the couple was sadly unable to mend the fractures in their relationship.
In a Jan. 26 report for Us Weekly, an insider says of the split,"[Sanders and Ross] gave it a shot for the kids [Skyla, 7, and Tennyson, 5], [but] she was just so angry...she's the kind of person who wouldn't ever really get over it."
Meanwhile, Stewart was reportedly able to reconcile with boyfriend and "Twilight" costar, Robert Pattinson, after a brief estrangement following news of the affair.
