Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson may have been able to move on together after Kristen cheated on Pattinson with her director from Snow White and The Huntsmen, Rupert Sanders, but Rupert's wife is not as forgiving and is not willing to forget.
Liberty Ross, 34, revealed on Friday January 25, that she has filed for divorce from her husband, Sanders, 41, after ten years of marriage.
The pair, have two children together, Skyla, 7, and Tennyson, 5, and Ross asked for joint custody of them along with spousal support and attorney's fees.
Ever since the affair became public last summer, Ross has not been with Sanders the way a couple should be.
Kristen, 22, and Rupert were caught in a steamy makeout session in a car while filming Huntsmen and though she denied it at first, Kristen finally came out and admitted she cheated on Pattinson and apologized publicly for what she did to Robert and to Sander's family.
Ross, who decided to try and save the marriage at first, forbid Rupert to ever work with Stewart again, which caused some issues and concerns since the sequel of Huntsmen was set to begin taping.
Kristen did write an apology letter to Ross, but Ross never revealed if she responded or not. She was devastated by the affair considering she had taken in Kristen like she was part of her family.
Sources tell US Weekly;
"This was a long time coming, in the aftermath of the shocking tryst, Sanders did want to try to repair the relationship and didn't want a divorce."
"They gave it a shot for the kids, [but] she was just so angry . . .she's the kind of person who wouldn't really ever get over it."
Ross is said to be represented by Laura Wasser who is handling Britney Spears, and Kim Kardashian's divorces as well.
Rupert filed a response to the divorce petition also and will be represented by Lance Spiegal.
Ross was recently seen at the Golden Globes with American music producer, Jimmy Iovine.
Stewart and Pattinson are rumored to be together again and working on their relationship.
