Liberty Ross has filed for divorce from her husband Rupert Sanders after more than 10 years of marriage. According to E! News on Jan. 25, Ross filed for divorce on the grounds of irreconcilable differences.
Ross filed for divorce in the L.A. County Superior Court. Ross also asked for joint custody of their two children, Skyla who is 7 and Tennyson who is 5. Ross also asked for spousal support and attorney fees. Ross will be represented by Laura Wasser, a celebrity attorney. Wasser has handled cases for Ryan Reynolds, Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears and Heidi Klum.
Sanders has reportedly filed a response to the petition and represented by Lance Spiegel. Sanders also requests joint custody of their children. Sanders has asked to share the cost of the attorney fees.
The news of their split is not surprising after it was revealed that Sanders had been caught cheating with Kristen Stewart, “Twilight” and “Snow White and the Huntsman” actress, in July. Stewart had been dating Robert Pattinson at the time and they have currently reconciled.
Liberty Ross, model and actress in the movie “Snow White and the Huntsman,” tried to work things out with her husband through counseling. Rupert Sandford, director of the movie “Snow White and the Huntsman,” was last seen with Ross at Halloween out with their kids. The past year has brought on many break-ups and new relationships. Let’s hope to see more new and old relationships staying together.
