Liberty Restored - One Gun A Month Almost Gone!

Background

Many Constitutionalists, second amendmant advocates and gun owners have cringed at at Virginia's One Gun a Month Handgun Law when it was signed into law by Govenor Douglas Wilder in 1993.

Philpip Van Cleve,  president of Virginia Citizens Defense League, was one of those people.

He has worked hard for many years defending the Constitutional Second Amendment Rights and Liberty for Virginians and all Americans.

Tides have Turned

Well, this year the tides have turned for Virginia Gun Lovers and Mr Van Cleave. The Virginia General Assembly, in both the House of Delegates and the State Senate have passed a repeal of the 1993 One Gun a Month Law. All that is needed now is for the Govenor to sign it.

Govenor McDonnell has said he will sign it into law. So if the govenor keeps his promise the 1993 gun law will be history. A great day for the Constitution and Liberty.
