DVT Entertainment and That Mag presents the third Liberty Music Fest (LMF) in Philadelphia, starting from August 20th to August 24th. Finnegan’s Wake on Spring Garden is the venue and all floors will be used for the five-day event.
LMF 2014 will be the largest indie music festival yet in Philadelphia. There’s over a hundred scheduled performances to be showcased, ranging in various genres such as Rock, Hip Hop, Dance, Soul, Punk among many other styles and sounds.
In addition to scheduled performances, there’ll be vendors, music panels, workshops and mentoring sessions. Some of the topics to be included are - Hear the real Road Story w/ The Tour Managers, Social Media: Tactics to gain more exposure, Producers, Publishing & Licensing your music, Booking Agents/Talent buyers: booking correctly opening more opportunities, The Art of Remixing your music for EDM, Dance clubs and more, Beats vs. the Rhymes: Beat Makers and Area MCs will demonstrate composing songs, and the final panel “The State of the Philadelphia Music Scene” a no holds barred discussion about what’s happening from artists and industry perspectives.

Liberty Music Fest is the brainchild of Jim Thorpe, Brian Cronin, and Vince Volz. All three have been instrumental in the music scene for years. Together they created the festival to celebrate, educate, and showcase musical talent from out the region.
To attend events, there’s a cover charge of $10. Packages can also be purchased such as The VIP package: $40 – This includes admission to all 5 days and all VIP parties. Attendees can just purchase a 5-Day package for a fee of $20 (this does not include the VIP parties)
