Liberty activists, leaders, and lovers will convene in Orlando this weekend for 2014's Fifth Annual Florida Liberty Summit. This convention, sponsored jointly by the Florida Campaign for Liberty and the Hillsborough Campaign for Liberty, will take place on Friday through Sunday, April 4 through 6, at the Doubletree Resort in Orlando. Topics scheduled to be covered at the Florida Liberty Summit include Federally-imposed Common Core Education Standards, preservation of the Second Amendment, red-light and speed cameras, overspending, Bitcoins, civil liberties, personal freedoms, and cost-efficient transit plans for cities across the Sunshine State. Summary of summit schedule and agenda
Friday’s events will last from 3 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., and includes registration, Ron Paul delivering the Keynote Speech for the Liberty Summit, and wraps up with a welcome session for the vendors, guests, and speakers. Saturday’s events kick off at 7:30 a.m., a break for lunch from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., and wraps up at 7 p.m. with the two-hour “Speakers Liberty Banquet”, which allows ticketed attendees to dine with the speaker of their choice.
