Liberty Humane Society Offers $14 Adoptions in Honor of Valentine's Day

If you're looking for a furry friend to celebrate Valentine's Day with this year, you're in luck! Liberty Humane Society, in Jersey City, NJ, has lowered their adoption fees on both dogs and cats to just $14 this February. The shelter currently has 77 cats and 57 dogs listed as available for adoption on their Petfinder page. Additional pets may be available but not listed. Adoption fees are normally between $100 and $200 for a cat, and $250 or $300 for a dog - making the $14 fee in February a huge savings! New owners can use all the money they'll save to spoil their new furry friend!

Liberty Humane Society is open from 2pm until 7pm Tuesdays through Fridays, and 11am until 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The first 14 adopters in February will also be awarded a gift bag for their new pet, and anyone who adopts a new family member in February will be entered into a contest for a chance to win a $100 Petland Discount gift card.

If you're not ready to bring a new family member into your life, but want to share in the Valentine's Day fun while also helping animals in need, Liberty Humane Society is also selling hand made Valentine's Day cards for $5 each. The cards will be put on display in the shelter lobby, and the money raised will go towards helping homeless pets. What better way is there for animal lovers to celebrate the holiday of love than by helping animals in need?
