Liberal intellectual is as much an oxymoron as honest Democrat

I know several liberals with whom I occasionally engage in political discussion, much to my frustration. One is a great advocate of conservative ideology who always votes Democrat, and I asked him, “You support everything in which Reagan and Rush believe, but then you vote liberal. Where is the disconnect?” To which he had no answer and changed the subject.

Another liberal I know blames the TEA Party and that Canadian p.o.s. Ted Cruz for shutting down the government in October. Despite proving that Republicans had no power to shut down the government while controlling only one of the three legs of government, he held to his opinion steadfastly. So I asked him, who does he believe had the power during the government shut down to have barricades erected around America's monuments and have State Troopers bar anyone from entering our National Parks; President Obama or Senator Cruz?

To my utter amazement, he directed me to an article written by some liberal hack that declared the park services initiated those actions as a matter of long-standing policy. The only intelligent response to this incredible declaration of bullsh*t as truth was to call it like it is, dishonest deflection. Like the argument between Intelligent Design Creationism and the accidental Theory of Evolution, when faced with the bare fact that liberals cannot explain how organic molecules came into being they resort to the “aliens left it here” defense. The only problem with that is it starts the whole cycle all over again of how did alien life originate?'

Park services had no such policy on the books when Speaker Newt Gingrich did a 100% shutdown of the government in 1995. This 30% shutdown should not have touched anything that is strictly illegal for the government to shutdown, such as Social Security and military paychecks, yet they did. So, this park service “policy” had to originate from somewhere. So who did it; President Obama or Senator Cruz?

Obviously, this goes without reply, but the answer, as we all know, is Barack Obama. If a senator had made such a closure the president would have easily overruled his actions. But by making it the responsibility of the Parks Dept., the issue is deflected onto them and therefore anyone who could effect a shutdown would be responsible for their carrying out their duty. Cough, cough, bullsh*t, cough.

It is as impossible for a liberal to be intellectual as it is for a Democrat to be honest.

“Liberals lie about everything to everyone including themselves.” – Dustin Koellhoffer

The truth of this is found in everything liberals believe in that they either delude themselves of the truth, or project the lie onto others.

As Rush Limbaugh says, “Liberalism is the most gutless, dishonest ideology and beliefs anyone can hold.”

Truth has one characteristic that liberal logic lacks, and that is a basis in fact. What liberals call facts is only their misplaced sense of the truth. That is why in their world the truth is in the eyes of the beholder and always in shades of gray, because one can never truly know, in their minds, what is true and what is false, what is good and what is bad, and what is right and what is wrong. To the dysfunctional liberal mind life is too confusing to make the correct choice.

“The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they’re ignorant; it’s just that they know so much that isn’t so.” – Ronald Reagan
