The man described as the Godfather of American Liberalism has stunned more than a few political wonks when he agreed with Sarah Palin's warning of Barack Obama's election promises being little more than a political Kabuki Dance, as reported by the right-of-center news portal The Daily Caller on Aug. 21, 2013.
Hard left-leaning academic Noam Chomsky has been an icon to the liberal movement for over half a century.
That may explain why more than a few on the left frowned when he agreed with former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin when she warned the American electorate in 2008 that then Candidate Obama's promise of "Hope and Change" was a whole lot of sizzle and very little steak:
I don’t usually admire Sarah Palin, but when she was making fun of this ‘Hopey-Changey stuff, she was right.
Low Information Voters Swallowed It Hook, Line And Sinker...
Not quite done yet, Chomsky went on to hammer not only Obama and his promises, but went on to wag an accusatory finger at the political elites in the Democratic Party:
There was nothing there.
And it was understood by the people who run the political system.
Chomsky, also a Professor Emeritus at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, made headlines recently when he blasted Barack Obama for “running the biggest terrorist operation that exists, maybe in history.”
As reported by The Washington Times on June 19, 2013, Chomsky accused the Obama Administration to being "dedicated to increasing terrorism.”
In fact, it’s doing it all over the world. Obama, first of all, is running the biggest terrorist operation that exists, maybe in history," he continued. "The drone assassination campaigns, which are just part of it. … All of these operations, they are terror operations."
