Last week Red Nose Day released a video of One Direction's Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan break down in tears as they witnessed first hand how the money they help raise for Comic Relief can help, this week a new video clips shows fellow band members Liam Payne and Harry Styles experiencing the trauma first hand.
In the new emotional video released on February 23, Harry and Liam witness, firsthand, the effects of malaria and how it can easily be preventable for as little as £5.
"Going to Ghana to see for ourselves the difference money raised through Red Nose Day can make was a real eye opener and an emotional experience for all of us," Liam Payne said about their trip.
The boys are mission to raise as much money as possible for Comic Relief/Red Nose Day, some of the clothing they wore on their trip to Ghana are now being auctioned off on EBay. In addition, Harry Styles has baked some goodies and Niall Horan has done sponsored silence.
But the biggest contributor to the charity will likely be their song "One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)," which went to #1 on iTunes in 63 countries and is expected to raise the most money for the charity in the history of Red Nose Day singles.
One Direction's music video for "One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)" was released earlier this week and for the first time in Red Nose Day history was filmed by the artists themselves to save money. In past years the charity has paid for the music video to be made.
