Lia's Spiked Red Sangria

See also

Sangria is a delicious and sweet wine-based drink. It's great for people who don't really like the taste of strong spirits. This amped up version contains several liqueurs that are blended with fruit juices to seamlessly mask the taste of alcohol, but still pack a punch. Lia's Sangria is seriously strong and is more of a cocktail than a wine cooler, so drink with caution.

2 bottles red Spanish table wine
4 oz. Grand Marnier
2 oz. Triple Sec
1 oz. Peach Schnapps
1 oz. Crème de cassis
1 cup pink lemonade
1/2 cup cranberry juice
1/2 cup passion fruit juice
1 green apple, sliced
1 cup blackberries
1 lime, sliced
1 orange, sliced

Mix all ingredients together and let stand in a tightly sealed container or pitcher for at least 24 hours in the refrigerator before serving. Add a splash of grenadine to each glass.

Optional: Wet the rims of your wine glasses. Add coarse lemon salt and sugar or lemon sugar and sea salt to a flat dish. Place the wet edge down and roll the glass around. Add ice cubes and pour sangria into your wine glasses.
