LG Optimus 3D Spotted In the Wild?

Well, well, well, look who decided to show up on camera for the first time today, San Francisco. It’s that 3D device from LG, the LG Optimus 3D, that is all but certain to make its debut in February at the Mobile World Congress.

If you need specifics, it looks like February 14th is the date that LG is going to be introducing this bad boy.

Before today, we could only guess as to what the glasses-free 3D device might look like. No, that picture that appeared on that Dutch retailer’s website was not the real deal. Fortunately, Phandroid has exactly that:

The first photo of LG’s Optimus 3D.

Now, they aren’t 100% that this is the device but they seem to be pretty darn sure that it is based on a little deduction. It’s not the Optimus 2X and it’s not the Optimus Black. However, because we aren’t able to tell if the display is 3D or not, this could be something entirely different from the 3D.

How about some specs, guys?

It supposedly has a screen bigger than 4 inches, likely 4.3 from the looks of things. It also supposedly packs a dual-core processor and multi-channel RAM, pretty necessary requirements for a phone that is going three-dimensional.

There’s also a front-facing camera.

So, chances are this is the Optimus 3D that will be introduced at LG’s event in Barcelona. And even if it’s not, it’s still a darn good looking smartphone.

What do you think, SF?

Is this the 3D phone of your dreams?
