Adding to the existing rumors surrounding the LG G3, including its specs, release date and price, new pics of the phone have surfaced online. The most recent image leak gives us a high resolution, clearer look at the upcoming LG G2 successor smartphone.

On May 2, GSMArena published a newer shot of the LG G3 that features a crispier rendering of the white color variant. The device is seen sporting a rear speaker grill, rear camera with LED flash and rear mounted keys as found on the LG G2.

What’s new is an additional sensor right next to the camera, which is speculated to be an IR blaster feature. The G3 image leaks in Droid Life's report not only show off the back of the G3, but the large front panel. Embedded in the bottom of the bezel we can see the LG logo and the phone is titled to reveal the headphone jack, microphone and usb port, situated on the bottom.

According to GSMArena’s report, sources confirm some of the specs for the LG G3, which falls right in line with previous rumors of what features to expect. The new handset is said to be slimmer than the G2 to compensate for its bigger screen. It’s expected to feature a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (QHD) and a pixel density of 534ppi.

LG is tipped to release two versions of its new "G series" flagship phone. One model will feature 16GB of internal storage with 2GB of RAM and the other will have 32GB of space alongside 3GB of RAM. Both models of the G3 feature a microSD card slot for memory expansion, a 3,000 mAh removable battery and a 13MP camera with a built-in optical image stabilizer (OIS).

Other LG G3 specs rumors floating about remain unconfirmed including the following: 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 2.1MP front-facing camera, LTE/EVDO/IS2000, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth support and Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS.

The LG G3 is expected to get its official unveil soon, although no solid launch or release date was announced. LG did however, roll out invites this week for two upcoming launch events taking place later this month, where it will likely announce the G3.

The Korean company will hold simultaneous meetings in New York, San Francisco and London on May 27. Another event is scheduled for the following day in Seoul, Singapore and Istanbul on May 28. These event dates coincide with rumors that LG would announce the G3 during May or June.

Initially speculated for a September release date, the LG G3 is now rumored to land in retail stores in July. Price speculation places the cost of the G3 within the $620 to $650 range, competitive with similarly priced current phones like the HTC One M8 and Samsung Galaxy S5.

The upcoming Android Wear based LG G Watch, rumored for a June release date might also make an appearance at the LG events later this month. As PhoneArena reports, the always on 1.65-inch display, 4GB of space having smartwatch will be available in Stealth Black and Champagne Gold, priced at $200.
