LG G Flex heading to European countries in February

On Tuesday, Korean cell-phone manufacturer LG announced that its new face-hugging smartphone, the LG G Flex, will be coming to European markets starting in February.

On Monday, AT&T announced that it will be making the LG G Flex available for pre-order starting on January 24.

The unique smartphone was announced last October, and the curved design is meant to follow the contour of your face and palm. In addition to this, the device boasts self-healing abilities: light scratches on the back of the phone will magically disappear.

Its other specs match that of today's high-end smartphones, with a 2.26GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, up to 32GB of storage, and a unique curved 3500mAh battery. The phone also features a 6-inch 1280x720 HD OLED display, a rear-facing 13MP camera, and a front-facing 2.1MP camera.

Like the U.S. version, the European LG G Flex will also come preloaded with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

Europe will not be far behind the U.S., as most U.S. carriers will be making the phone available starting January 31, and it will be headed to the U.K., Germany, France, Italy, Sweden and Austria, among others.
