Lexus debuted a brand new crossover hybrid concept today called the LF-NX, at the Frankfurt Auto Show. According to Lexus it will be smaller than the RX SUV, and will "focus on luxury that doesn't come at the expense of a seamless everyday experience."
Lexus goes on to say that the LF-NX "vehicle’s design expresses youth, confidence and innovation, all in a compact size ideal for meeting the challenges of the global trend toward urban living." Power will come from a hybrid powertrain while according to Lexus "the interior is built with the driver in mind, within an ergonomically ideal environment."
To my eye it looks very exciting in its concept form, and it will also hopefully come at a very fair price that will let a whole generation of younger buyers experience the luxury and features of a Lexus in a compact, and extremely functional form. Look for the LF-NX at your dealer next year. I'm Drivin' Ivan Katz.
