Orlando singer/songwriter Levi Jardim is set to release his long-awaited debut EP, “The Road,” with a full band show at The Venue on Saturday June 7. The show proceeds will benefit RIPPLE Africa and The Road Foundation.

RIPPLE Africa is an organization that serves to better a Malawi community through education, housing and other environmental efforts. The Road Foundation is Jardim’s philanthropic endeavor that works to encourage kids to use their creative talents and make a difference for local and national causes.

Jardim believes music can change people, and people can change the world. “Music has always been an escape for me but I believe it can be more than that,” said Jardim. “I believe music can help a child who lives thousands of miles away. I want to make a difference.”

Music fans can follow the Orlando based singer/songwriter on his official site, Facebook, ReverbNation and Twitter. “The Road” will be available on iTunes and Spotify on June 7. “I am very excited about the show and the EP,” he said. “It’s a project I’ve been working on for two years and it has helped me grow as an artist.”

The Venue is located at 511 Virginia Drive in Orlando. Tickets for the event are $10. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
