Leverage may have just ended its first batch of episodes for its fourth season on Sunday with "The Queen's Gambit Job," but it's time to already look ahead to the remaining episodes, which will air beginning November 27.
Leverage season 4 winter episodes promo: Returning characters and more cons
The promo out for the last eight episodes of season 4 and it shows that a few characters from past episodes will be returning. TV Guide has some hints at what's coming, including a tease about
"one other familiar face who will surprise you more than Sterling."
It sounds like the other return is one that hasn't been shown yet, and the promo for the upcoming episodes show Jeri Ryan, Wil Wheaton, Richard Chamberlain, and Tom Skerritt. It also doesn't look like Sterling is going to be back "until at least Season 5," but Sterling will complete his end of the favor Nate cashed in on at the end of "The Queen's Gambit Job." Executive producer Dean Devlin has revealed,
"Just remember that, as we designed the season, we had no idea there would be a fifth season. So, the way that our season finale culminates really brings full circle the entire series from the beginning."
Leverage had a strong first half of season 4, and it's shaping up to have just as good a second half. The teases of the returning characters in the promo are just enough to let you know who's coming back, but at the same time, they make November seem so far away. Fortunately, when the series does return, it will be for its longest season yet, with eight more episodes to add on to the 10 that have already aired. The first 10 have just offered bits about the new recurring mark, Latimer, and in the back eight, it's going to be time for Nate to work at taking him down with whatever information he can get on him, whether that's from Sterling or another source.
