Bufoni skated through the prelims in first place, holding up the only 90s score of the day at X Games. Bufoni beat out second place winner Lacey Baker by a few points. When asked in the first heat who to watch, Bufoni responded, "Lacey, she's good." Turns out she was right, she ended up edging Lacey Baker out to take the top spot at the X Games Women's Skateboard Street event. Post victory she stated, "I think Lacey's killing it. She's one of the best girls out there. I think the difference was because I skated everything and skated the rail." The rail was important in this street competition, as Bufoni is more known for her execution in bowls and 'surf style.'

After the victory, Bufoni told ESPN, "This is the best year of my life." When asked about the course, "I don't really skate ledges and manny pads so I had to do some different tricks, but it was fun," Bufoni said.

In third-place was Melissa Dal Santo, making this her seventh medal Another show stopper was the youngest competitor who advanced to the finals, Alana Smith, who at twelve years old put on a good show but didn't make it to the top three. Samarria Brevard skated her first X Games event ever and missed the podium by just a tad, placing fourth. Lastly, Rachel Reinhard, a fan favorite fell on her last run leaving her with a dislocated left elbow.

Bufoni celebrated on the stand and held on to her last X Games Gold medal of 2013. It might just be the best year of her life held up by three X Games Gold medals. Check out photos below:
