The view of Lincoln Center here looks calm for the moment, but as we speak the madness has begun with the first show minutes away. For the next eight days there will be back to back shows, parties, networking and frolicking more than usual on the streets of the big apple. It is the time when all the creative juices are flowing, whether you knew you were capable of such juices or not. The pulse and fever is in the air as models literally run from show to show, changing hair, make-up and looks several times a day if booked in more than one show for the day.
Everyone is on their toes from the designers, photographers, to PR, to the dressers, and of course the attendees. Don't go crazy, maintain your composure, do wear the sexiest shoes. If you must, hold your back-up pair for when the tenth hour stiletto pain sets in, you will want to switch out. Buckle up, feel free to raise your hands in the air, as a sign you are enjoying this fashion ride. But hang on because if all goes well it could very well be the best bumpy runway sashay ever!
