It may be cold outside, but it’s the perfect time to start the ball rolling for a good family-friendly activity. The surrounding community has many fun activities in store, no matter what the season, but one activity that never goes out of season is bowling.

Gilly’s Bowl and Grille, located six miles north of Gettysburg makes the perfect weekend outing on a cold winter’s day as well as any other time of year. Gilly’s features 12 lanes of 10 Pin Bowling as well as six lanes of Duckpin Bowling, making it the only bowling house in Pennsylvania to offer Duckpins. There are also arcade games, billiards and more to explore onsite.

With Gilly’s Grille on standby, you and your party can let the good times roll, no need to stop except for a timeout to grab some grub. Gilly’s Grille serves up all the traditional bowling alley favorites including subs, hotdogs, chicken nuggets, pizza, dinner combos, and their renowned “Gilly Burger,” which is a much sought after signature menu item.

Whether you are coming in as a family or a larger group, Gilly’s is the perfect place to enjoy fun fellowship of family folly. It is also a popular destination for special parties and other group gatherings and even offers various packages to meet any taste. Gilly’s has a wonderful selection of leagues including Junior Leagues, Men’s Leagues, Women’s Leagues and Mixed Leagues. There is also a special Senior Citizen Program that meets every Thursday at 1 p.m. Seniors can come out, bowl three games and have a meet and greet at any time, no strings attached.
