Let The April Showers Commence!

The next seven days ahead
The next seven days aheadScott Derek

After a low of 37 this morning at Philly International Airport we had sunshine give way to clouds in the early afternoon, but then the clouds moved away by sunset. We still managed to reach a high of 59 and we'll stay within the middle and upper 50s for the rest of the week! FINALLY! No snow to talk about for the next seven days, but there are some rain chances however.

A frontal boundary will push through the region Wednesday afternoon with some light rain, but then stall on top of us.

Overnight we'll have a clear sky with lows in the lower 40s; by sunrise we will have clouds pushing in thanks to a front that will stall on top of us. Highs will be in the upper 50s with some light rain in the afternoon. Overnight Wednesday into Thursday we'll have a few clouds with lows in the middle 40s and highs will be in the middle 50s with more clouds than sunshine.

Finally on Friday a cold front will push in from the west and help push the stationary front along; the catch is that we'll have scattered showers through the day and even some thunderstorms possible as the front itself pushes through in the late evening. Highs will be in the upper 50s, but behind the front we'll stay in the upper 50s to around 60 with plenty of sunshine for the weekend.
