Learn how you can bring home your new best friend right in your own neighborhood.

Humane Animal Welfare Society's (HAWS) Mobile Adoptions Center is available for visits to businesses, festivals and events in the Waukesha County area throughout the year.  HAWS can set up inside and outside of stores, malls, parks -- or anywhere else that pet lovers gather -- to show off pets available for adoption.

Additionally, the HAWS Mobile Adoption Center makes regular weekly stops around the community, including one at the Delafield Petco (2780 Heritage Drive) from 5:00-7:00 p.m. every Wednesday.

Potential adoptors will need to provide proof of home ownership or landlord approval and proof of up-to-date vaccinations for animals currently owned before any adoption can be approved.

If you would like the HAWS Mobile Adoptions Center and HAWS mascot "Lucky" to come to your business or event (pet-related or not), contact Cassie Gugin, Mobile Adoptions Coordinator, at 262-542-8851 xt. 200 or email her at to reserve your date.
