“My family comes here for gifts to give around the holidays and for birthdays or to bring over to someone’s house, there is something for everyone at the store,” said Ventura County local Vanessa Woodward after her recent visit.
During Woodward’s trip she and her family brought home garlic pistachios, butter toffee cashews, salted almonds, dried apricots, chocolate covered banana chips and milk chocolate honeycomb to just name a few.
People come from all over the area to get a taste of the Somis Nut House. The amount of snacks to buy mixed with the local atmosphere and competitive prices make for a great weekend trip.
“I was so excited to go to the Nut House because there are so many different treats to buy. We spent 20 minutes in there just walking around and looking at everything, it was hard to not put too much in our baskets,” said Woodward.
