Let'em Upstate has asked for help with several upcoming volunteer projects, their Facebook page reported April 21.
Let'em Live Upstate Resource Center is the goal of the South Carolina group, where it will fill the need for a safety net for pets of Upstate SC. They hope to take on the 10,000 animals that our county shelter is killing each year and give them the chances they deserve.
The organization is a collaborative of individuals and local rescues working together to create a no-kill upstate South Carolina. They have the programs and plan in place, and now they need the animal lovers in the upstate to gather strength in numbers.
Here are the upcoming events planned and what's needed from the community

*May 3-8am til noon four crew heads are needed to help organize volunteers and their projects. Meeting will be at the Education Facility at Greenville County Animal Care Services
