With St. Patrick's Day just around the corner, you need to add any ingredients you might need to your shopping list so that you can fix this really cool dessert for your holiday. Pick up what you need at the Franklin Sparkle Market at 5461 Manchester Road in Akron.


6 cups miniature marshmallows

1/4 cup milk

1/3 cup green creme de menthe (or 1/2 teaspoon mint extract)

3 drops green food coloring (optional)

2 cups whipping cream

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 Chocolate Pie Crust

Chill large mixing bowl and beaters of electric mixer.

In large saucepan combine marshmallows and milk. Cook and stir over low heat until marshmallows melt. Stir in creme de menthe or mint extract and green food coloring, if desired.

In chilled bowl, beat whipping cream and vanilla on medium speed of electric mixer until soft peaks form. Fold in marshmallow mixture. Spread in crust. Freeze at least 4 hours or until firm.

Let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes before cutting. Garnish with chocolate curls if desired. Store in freezer.
