Leopard is celebrated in DKNY Women's Fall 2013 (Photos)

Designer Donna Karan presented her much-anticipated DKNY Women's Fall 2013 collection in a stunning fashion show for Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week at the Lincoln Center on February 10, 2013 in New York City.

Leopard takes over in this DKNY Womenswear Autumn/Winter 2013 collection, rendered in various sized prints and colors.

Of particular note are the red leopard print top and skirt ensemble, teamed with ankle boots and a black knit cap but there are other leopard ensembles in the traditional leopard colors, including the black, brown and beige leopard tunic with black pants and a rather lovely large leopard print dress, accessorized with a lovely leopard print bag.

The DKNY colorblocked beige, cream and black coat that tops a beige, cream and black suit ensemble is lovely as well as is a body-con colorblocked dress in similar colors.

Karan’s double-breasted charcoal grey winter coat with large lapels is equally stylish. That burgundy leather bag the model is carrying looks promising…

DKNY also pairs royal blue and black together quite artistically, a favorite color combination of the former Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, now enjoying her pregnancy and taking a break from public engagements.

For eveningwear, there are several options including a two-piece red gown (also available in black), an elegant black gown with pants (yes!), and a colorblocked grey and black gown.

Donna Karan, who loves to greet the crowd in one of her extraordinary creations, came out in a striking quilted black coat that topped a black top and pants ensemble, accessorized with black chains and several black bangles and of course, black boots.

Attending the DKNY 2013 fashion show were Elettra Wiedemann (daughter of Isabella Rossellini), Shay Mitchell and Holland Roland. Enjoy my slideshow of the DKNY Fall 2013 fashion show…
