So today, is dog of the week day and todays featured pooch is LEONIDAS....
Leonidas was dropped of at a shelter at only three weeks old after he was held over an abused/chained dog as bait. The dog ripped of both of his back rear feet and half of his rear left leg (who can come up with this amount of cruelty, this person has to be very sick in the head). Then he found his was to the Game Dog Guardian a pit bull rescue, where he was adopted. Now Leonidas (named after the King of Sparta) is a Delta Therapy Dog and goes with his owner Barnett to veterans hospitals and the Collegiate Veterans Association at the University of Kansas. He also goes to elemetary schools to help teach kids how to interact with dogs.
