Leonard Cohen confirms new ‘Old Ideas’ tour dates in North America

Leonard Cohen will return to North America for a second leg of ‘Old Ideas” tour dates this spring.

According to a news release posted by promoter AEGLive.com, the iconic Montreal born singer-songwriter has added a string of new dates by popular demand, which will include eight new stops in Canada.

Touring in support of his twelfth studio album, the latest trek begins March 2 in Oakland, Calif. at Paramount Theater and wraps up April 15 in Saint John, NB at Harbour Station.

Other Canadian dates include: March 6 Victoria, BC - Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre, March 9 Regina, SK - Brandt Centre, March 11 Winnipeg, MB - MTS Centre, April 9 Hamilton, ON - Copps Coliseum, April 13 Halifax, NS - Halifax Metro Centre, April 15 Saint John, NB - Harbour Station and April 17 Moncton, NB- Moncton Coliseum.

Tickets for the Canadian shows go on sale beginning Friday, Jan. 18 at 10:00 a.m. (local time) at AEGLive.com, Ticketmaster, Evenko.ca and local venues.

Seats range from $36.00 - $269.00 (fees included), depending upon seat, city and venue.

Special VIP packages will be available and various presales begin Jan. 15.
