Despite the fact that his name means “lion”, Leo is a very handsome tiger-striped tabby cat. His glittering gold eyes are striking against his beautiful black and fawn stripes, giving him a very unique look.
Brought to the Liberty Humane Society in late January to be neutered, Leo’s owner decided not to return to the shelter to retrieve him. It’s hard to understand why this little dude was abandoned, as he’s quite the charmers. Says shelter volunteer Jenny Furlong, “When you open the door to his crate, Leo is likely to give you a hug by putting his paws on your chest, and trying to climb up into your arms. He's happy to sit in your lap and be brushed, but he’s also quite inquisitive, ready to explore his territory. Leo sits very quietly in his crate, observing the scene, but when he's out and about, he likes to talk!”
Leo is a young cat with a fairly small build for an adult cat, short fur, and an adorable face. He is FeVL- and FIV-negative, up-to-date on shots, and just needs to be neutered before going to his forever home.
If you’re looking for a BFFF (Best Furry Friend Forever) – a couch buddy who can offer love, fun, and some intelligent conversation to boot, Leo is ready to fill the role. He’s definitely a little character with lots of character!
