"VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Volunteers are needed to package bread, bagels, and pastries donated to Bread Basket for the Poor by Panera Bread®. Volunteers meet in the church kitchen every Tuesday at 9:30 am and spend 45 minutes to an hour packaging the bulk baked goods into family sized portions. Once packaged, the baked goods will be taken to Catholic Social Services (CSS) and distributed to members of our local community. It is a great way to spend time with friends while helping others. A Volunteer is also need to deliver the Packaged Baked Goods to Catholic Social Services (CSS) at 621 W. 2nd St, Winston Salem, NC 27101. Packaged goods are available for pickup every Tuesday after 11:30 am. This volunteer should be able to lift 40 lbs and have reliable transportation capable of transporting several large boxes.
