'Lennonology' website goes live for upcoming books on John Lennon and Yoko Ono

Chip Madinger's newest project, "Lennonology," is a little closer to reality.

The author of "Eight Arms to Hold You" told us Saturday a website for the new book is now live at www.lennonology.com. There's a Facebook page and you also can follow the book on Twitter at http://twitter.com/lennonology_. (The underscore is not a misprint.) Publication is still about a year off.

He says the format has been in flux, but as of now, "Lennonology" will be four volumes. The first, "the keystone of the series," Madinger says, is called "Strange Days Indeed," and was co-authored with Scott Raile. It diarizes John and Yoko's life together from 1968 through 1980. The remaining three volumes will cover the creation process, production and promotion of John and Yoko's art.

Currently, the series looks to be 2,500 pages and is nearing 1.5 million words. "I intend to make parts of the book available electronically in hopes of minimizing the consistently escalating shipping charges that will unfortunately be so excessive that some may not be able to afford a copy," he says.

For people still in need of his "Eight Arms to Hold You Book" book written with Mark Easter, a few copies are still available through that book's website (http://www.8-arms.com/).

I have been very pleased with Madinger's work, as it proves to be well-tested, accurate information about men who a lot of legends have been crafted about.

I look forward to reading his latest work, especially that which has been eleven years in the making.
