The toilet from John Lennon's Tittenhurst Park estate, lot #250 in this week's Liverpool Beatles auction, sold for £9,500, about $14,740 USD, reports the BBC (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-11120873). The original description of lot #250 from the auction catalog: "The WC toilet from John Lennon’s house at Tittenhurst Park complete with letter detailing how this was removed by Lynbourne Heating and Domestic Services and given to vendor’s father in law John saying ‘ Take it, put some flowers in it or something.’ (1) £750-£1000 (roughly $1162-$1550).

That's kinda stupid...
saw John Lennon's hat that he wore during the last Beatles photo shoot. roughly 3 cm of glass separating me!
Maby they can paint it psychodelic colors, make crapping an art.
The good part about all this is that since probably all the other Beatles visited John and Yoko, there's much more history in it.
I guess John never hung this seat round his neck like he did the one in Hamburg.....
