It's touching to see a family together. That was the scene at the opening Thursday night for Julian Lennon's "Timeless" exhibit at the Morrison Hotel Gallery in New York City, which we've written about previously.
But maybe the most interesting moment had to be the embrace between Yoko Ono and Cynthia Lennon. It was caught on film by Rolling Stone.com. Even more significant: That picture is on Yoko Ono's website.
Not only were Julian, Yoko and Cynthia there, but so were May Pang, Sean Lennon and so many other figures in Julian (and John Lennon's) past.
May Pang told us, "Everyone came to show support for Julian. Julian managed to get the 3 women in John's life with their kids, John's ex-lawyer Harold Seider, Patti Boyd, Sid Bernstein, singer Lou Christie (one of John's favorite singer), photographers Henry Diltz, Mick Rock and Timothy White (Tim curated the show) and many, many more to be in the same room!"
She also told us that in addition to the art show, Julian Lennon has a new book on Beatles memorabilia now available (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1847960189?ie=UTF8&tag=abbeyrdsbeatlesp...).

I guess time does heal all wounds! That is nice, life is too short...
Well, we don't know that they're completely healed, but it's nice that they all found a common ground to be together. You'd like to think John was somewhere smiling.
Money heals all wounds. Yoko still gets a tremendous amount of heat for the awful way she treated Julian and Cynthia. But she knows positive publicity means more attention, which often translates into more Lennon CD sales, and Yoko never misses a PR moment.
Actually if you go to Rollingstone.com the photos are NOT there. The only place they seem to be is on Yoko's website, so I can only surmise that she is allowing it. If you missed it on her site, be sure to keep scrolling down.
never thought I would see it. the REAL money shot would have been to have May Pang in one of the photos too.
Leave it to Julian to get all these people in the same room without people giving each other the cold shoulder. True Cyn was at the premiere of Beatles LOVE in Vegas, but she and Yoko were never photographed together.
But I think Yoko's smile is a forced PR smile. Cyn looks much more relaxed.
Yoko is very cagey to make the photos available only on her websites, means more hits for her.
Cagey or willing to be gracious? I'd like to think it's the latter.
I think cagey. Nothing she has done in the recent past has been gracious, it has been all PR to her. Funny how none of the photos of them together have hit any of the NY papers yet...has she bought exclusive rights? Gracious? In NYC she isn't considered a gracious person.
You know, gracious is not the word that comes to mind when I hear the name YOKO.
Um, Thursday night is when two huge Tornado storms hit NYC. Coincidence...hmm???..
