Lena Dunham is one serious Gloria Estefan fan. The Girls actress dished on her obsession with the talented entertainer on The Late Show with David Letterman on Monday night and it wasn't anything short of hilarious. While some stars hide that they are fans of celebrities, Lena Dunham doesn't mind that everyone in the world knows she is Gloria Estefan’s biggest fan.
“Tonight: @ LenaDunham loves @ GloriaEstefan. Like a lot,” tweeted The Late Show with David Letterman. Attaching the interview, fans obviously were clued in that Lena’s appreciation of the artist was very sincere.
The entertainer obviously fell in love with Estefan when she was young and heard the song Conga. The song was the first hit single released by the Miami Sound Machine led by Gloria Estefan on their second English language album. Of course Lena was very young, but the impact made a difference.
“I went to Gloria Estefan’s restaurant,” said Lena Dunham on The Late Show with David Letterman. The actress was dishing on her holidays and sharing some of her fixation about Gloria. “I’ve been to Cuba and the entire time I was thinking I was in the birthplace of Gloria Estefan.”
