Is Len Goodman really leaving "Dancing with the Stars"? On the season finale, the judge mentioned that he may not return next season. Len made the comment after he watched Maks and Meryl do their very last dance, which was a perfect-scoring Foxtrot/Cha-Cha Fusion. According to Wet Paint, Len sort of mentioned that this was his last season in passing, saying that if this was his last season, that last dance that he got to judge made it all worth it.
Goodman has been on the show since the very beginning. He just turned 70 and while you might not think that it's a lot of work, it's a lot of work. Len also judges a show called Strictly Come Dancing in England.
No one wants Len Goodman to retire, that's for sure. He really is a joy (even when he is crabby) and fans really love to hear him critique dances. While he gets his fair share of "boos," Len is really experienced and you can just see how much joy the art of dance brings him.
And Len might not be the only leaving the popular competition show. Maksim Chmerkovskiy is still on cloud nine after taking home his very first Mirror Ball Trophy (with partner and maybe-girlfriend, Meryl Davis), but this really could have been his last season on the show also. Not only does Maks feel like he's been on the show for a long time, he has said that it might be his time to go. He finally won a season (and he may or may not have fallen in love) and now he feels like he needs to really consider his next step.
It's hard to imagine Len Goodman missing from that judge's panel and if Maks leaves the show, it's going to be tough for fans to adjust. Will you miss either Len or Maks? Do you think both of them will decide to leave?
