Leland Bradley Bowling Green, KY, cold case:The Times Union is reporting today that a Bowling Green man, who has been on the run for 16 years, was located in Mexico last week. Authorities say Leland Neal aka Leland Bradley Neal killed his wife Carol Neal 16 years ago and then crossed the border into Mexico, where he vanished. Leland Neal is currently being held in the Harris County Jail in Houston.

February: Mexican police officers contact local authorities to tell them that they are holding Leland Neal in a Mexican jail on charges unrelated to the murder case, according to WKU Public Radio.

Leland Neal is picked up and placed in a Texas jail.

Authorities say that Leland Neal will be returned to Kentucky to face charges of murder.
