Images surfaced on Feb. 27 at Brickset of the highly anticipated LEGO minifigures series 10. The previous nine series have been huge successes for the LEGO brand. Hasbro has recently tried to replicate the line with their KRE-O minifigures.
Series 10 is set to include the following: Sea Captain, Sad Clown, Librarian, Grandpa, Bumblebee Girl, Roman Commander, Warrior Woman, Tomahawk Warrior, Trendsetter, Baseball Fielder, Revolutionary Soldier, Motorcycle Mechanic, Medusa, Skydiver, Paintball Player and a Decorator. Medusa looks especially well done.
LEGO will also release a rare chase figure in each wave starting with the monocle wearing Golden Man in this series.
In a marketing move that frustrates many collectors the mini-figures come in a sealed bag, so you do not know which one you are purchasing. In the earlier series fans had discovered different ways to identify the contents of the bags ranging from barcode numbers to a cryptic series of small raised dots. LEGO has kept up on these sleuths and the last couple series have had no individually identifying marks on the bags. You can still feel around the bag and attempt to determine what pieces are contained.
