LEGO is currently constructing a new line of Minecraft sets and figures and is using feedback from fans to determine the final look for each. The plastic brick building company gave an update Monday on the designs for the Creeper, sheep, cows, minecarts, temples and more.

The final design of the Creeper has not been decided yet but the team at LEGO is currently trying to merge the two favorite designs picked by fans on Facebook and at the Minecon convention in November. Additionally, they are attempting to make the final designs include articulated.

The sheep design appears to be the closest to final with the decision to include animal's wool as detachable bricks that can be turned into a wool block. The head was updated from the original design to make it more square like in the game. The cow design looks close to final as well with the brown cow design with horns chosen.

The feedback on the two biomes previously showed - the jungle and the desert temple - indicated that the desert temple was the favorite among fans. However, the designers plan to keep tweaking and exploring designs for both of them to see what else they can come up with.

The final minecart design was chosen as well with the straight walls, dark plate interior plus smooth rails and a guide so that the minecart can slide along.

The LEGO team did ask for feedback on a shelter for Steve a couple of weeks back but the amount of feedback they got back is taking them back to the drawing board to decide what kind of shelter to make or if to make one at all.

You can check out images of the designs chosen so far in this slideshow gallery. Just remember that the sticker faces for the minifigs are temporary for prototyping purposes. The final designs will not include them.
