Lego Marvel Super Heroes coming soon to a console near you

In a shocking turn of events Traveller’s Tales or TT Games from Knutsford England, received aid from its parent company Warner Bros, to secure rights to a new Lego series game.
Titled Lego Marvel Super Heroes, this is a real shock for the company. This is because Warner Bros. owns DC comics the biggest rival of Marvel there is. It’s great for gamers, but incredible to think about actually being able to happen at all. Now that Disney owns Marvel it is especially striking that they allowed TT games rights to make a Marvel based game. Disney and Warner Bros haven’t always played nice.
In related news, Game Informer Magazine is set to have its February issue with special coverage of Lego Marvel Super heroes. The game will be on the cover and will get a special spread within.
So far one of the best tidbits about the game is that for the first time in any LEGO game, you will be able to play a giant sized character. In this case it’s the Incredible Hulk. You will be able to use the big green monster (Not to be confused with that silly oversized wall at Fenway) and crush, smash, and bash to your heart’s desire.
There is a lot to discuss and so much to find out, but as of now TT Games has made it clear, this isn’t an Avengers game nor is it an X Men game. All of the characters from both will be in the game and playable but the story line will be something new and very different.
The Lego series games from Traveller’s Tales has been great. So far, here is the list of titles.
1) Lego Star Wars (original trilogy)
2) Lego Star Wars (The complete Saga)
3) Lego Star Wars III The Clone Wars
4) Lego Indiana Jones
5) Lego Indiana Jones 2
6) Lego Pirates of the Caribbean
7) Lego Batman
8) Lego Batman 2
9) Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4
10) Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7
11) Lego Lord of the Rings
12) And now Lego Marvel Super Heroes

A release date hasn’t been confirmed publicly, however you can bet that is one of many things that will be discussed in Game Informer’s February magazine.
