Lego Harry Potter would be proud to live in this 400,000 piece Hogwarts replica

There are fans of Harry Potter, and then there are the mega fans of the series, chalk Alice Finch as a mega fan. She just spent twelve months building a 400,000 piece, 170 square foot replica of Hogwarts Castle. Take a look at the flickr album for further details as to how in depth this piece really is. You'll be able to tell that nothing was left out of this, any Harry Potter fan and even J.K Rowling herself would be impressed by this Lego masterpiece.

Noting the flickr album further, her attention to detail is astonishing. From a potions classroom, Dumbledore's office, and many other little touches, this is the definitive Lego Hogwarts Castle experience. Finch took her time with this and it shows in every picture. Even the most picky of Harry Potter fans won't be able to help themselves but pour through these pictures in awe of what she pulled off.

All this came out of helping her young sons build Lego sets, and not being impressed by the current Lego Harry Potter sets out there. As noted in an interview with The Brothers Brick, her sons and husband helped her out with certain bits of the monumental project, that just got unveiled at last years Brick-Con, which she won the People's Choice and Best in Show awards. A job well done, making Harry Potter and Lego fans, along with everyone else smile for years to come.
