Lego Free Build

Finding things to do with your kids that don't cost you an arm and a leg can sometimes be hard. Lucky for you the Lego store offers up a free Lego build the first Tuesday of every month. They start at 5 p.m., however you will want to show up earlier than that to get in line. If you can I would go there around 4 p.m. or head there after you pick up the kids from school. You might be thinking that seems like a long wait, but for a free Lego build it is worth it. For kids that have homework they can do it while waiting in line, there are many that do this already. A bag with things like coloring books, portable video games, and such will help keep the kids entertained during the wait. If your child likes Legos they will be willing to wait and stay behaved the whole time for a chance at a free build.

The build is different each month. You can go into the Lego store to see examples of the past months build's as well as the one for the next month. They are not ones you can buy on the self. Instead they are unique designs made for the free builds. Past builds have been things like a turkey, watering can, duck, and flower. They are usually only three to four inches tall or wide. Nothing to big. Since the store is small they can only take in some many people to build at one time. They usually have about 10 to 15 kids building at one time, but the build itself only takes about 5 minutes for most kids.
