Robby Krieger, the superb lead guitar from the classic 60s rock band The Doors, will be performing a free concert at Harrah’s Resort on Saturday, June 21. The concert will begin at 10 p.m. in the Eden Lounge.

Robby Krieger is best known for his extraordinary guitar skills and is number 76 on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 best guitarists of all time. He also wrote many of the band’s most well-known songs. After The Doors disbanded in 1973, he formed The Butts Band before launching a solo album in 1977. He has since formed bands including the Robby Krieger Organization and the Robby Krieger Band in the 90s, along with The Doors of the 21st Century, with former bandmate Ray Manzarek, which was later renamed Manzarek-Krieger. Sadly, Ray Manzarek passed away in May of 2013 at the age of 74.

"I'm really looking forward to playing the Eden Lounge next weekend!” said Robby Krieger. “We had a great audience there last year, and hope to see some of the fans again.”
