Legendary Guitarist Michael Schenker to Play Cleveland Agora

Live at NAMM
Live at NAMM

Cleveland OH - What does UFO, The Scorpions ,MSG and Cleveland have it common . You guessed it Michael Schenker has appeared in all of them . The artist is scheduled to bring his “ Temple Of Rock “ show to the Cleveland Agora on January 28, 2014 in support of his latest release “ Bridge The Gap “ a collection of thirteen great songs well written and performed by musicians at the top of their craft . My personal favorites are “ Lord of the Lost and Lonely , Land of Thunder, Shine On, Bridges We Have Burned “and the awesome “Black Moon Rising “ . I had the chance to see Michael at the NAMM Jam a few years ago in Anaheim and I was impressed to the say least . Hell I was blown away I think he was born with a guitar in his hand . But unlike a lot of great guitar shredders he is also an artist and writes beautifully written songs that really touch the soul and inspire the spirit . I had the opportunity to recently speak with him and ask him a few questions about the new album and he imparted on me the three stages of a performing musician and truer words were never spoken. The first stage is developing as a guitarist and self expression with the guitar , the second stage is personal devolvement and the third stage is getting back into the loop of rock n roll and bringing it to the people . What I understand it as learning your craft , learning who you are and then enjoying what you do . That’s a great way of looking at life . The Temple of Rock will also bring with them some other great musicians to join Michael on stage and they include bassist Francis Buchholz and drummer Herman Rarebell - as well as enlisting ex-Rainbow singer Doogie White, plus guitarist/keyboardist Wayne Findlay. This is going to be a night of epic proportions and these amps will go to 11. To keep up with all things Michael Schenker please visit his official website at
